VERTEX 60 HST
VERTEX 60 HST is a surface-treated magnesium hydroxide product suitable for use in making fire-rated thermoplastic compounds where high loading levels of the flame retardant are desired. VERTEX 60 HST provides excellent fire retarding and smoke suppression performance for thermoplastic and elastomeric compounds. At 330°C, it decomposes in an endothermic reaction to form water and magnesium. VERTEX 60 HST is optimized for use in applications requiring superior compounding rheology and high-quality powder dispersion into polyolefin resins. VERTEX 60 HST can help formulate durable, long-lasting products with fire retardant properties.
