MICRAL 855

MICRAL 855 is a flame retardant and smoke suppressant product with very low surface area and fine particle size distribution. It has precise particle size distribution and low absorbed water and soluble soda content. MICRAL 855 has demonstrated superior mechanical properties when compared with traditional ground alumina trihydrate. It has been designed for rapid and complete dispersion in polymers and compounds. Thermoplastic or cross-linked compounds made with MICRAL 855 show low viscosities which result in favorable processing, particularly at high filler loadings.
