MAGNIFIN H5IV

MAGNIFIN H5IV is a high-purity magnesium hydroxide surface treated with a special amino polysiloxane. It represents a halogen free flame retardant with low smoke emission and high thermal stability up to 340°C. During the decomposition process no toxic or corrosive gases are generated. The surface treatment favours the compatibility of filler and polymer matrix and improves processing. MAGNIFIN H5IV is tailor-made for applications in engineering plastics, e.g. PA and EVA formulations. It provides benefits such as improved mechanical properties, durability and workability of finished products.
